Scott Slezak is the Underwriting Manager at Ten Four Truck Insurance, where he leads a  highly specialized, account-focused underwriting team dedicated to the trucking industry. With a hands-on approach to risk evaluation, Scott emphasizes disciplined underwriting  practices, with a focus on rate adequacy and appetite compliance, tailored to the unique operational realities of commercial trucking, prioritizing long-term account performance. Scott brings over a decade of experience across both carrier and brokerage environments. 

He began his career as an Underwriter with National Indemnity Company from 2013 to 2016, developing a strong foundation in risk assessment and pricing discipline. He then expanded his market perspective as a Broker at Worldwide Facilities, gaining valuable insight into complex placement strategies and client advocacy. 

From 2017 to 2019, Scott served as Vice President at General Indemnity Group, where he further refined his leadership and underwriting expertise. Most recently, he was an Underwriting Supervisor at BiBERK from 2021 to 2023, overseeing underwriting operations with a focus on profitability and efficiency.
